The point to point videoconferencing: Videoconferencing in point to point connects a site with only one other site.
Each site can be composed of a single individual or group of people.
Multipoint video conferencing: In multipoint at least 3 sites are interconnected. Again, each site may be composed of one or more persons. This requires the use of a bridge which manages the multicast.
Videoconferencing in broadcast mode (streaming): Videoconferencing in "broadcast" mode (broadcast mode) refers to a multi-point communication in which a privileged site broadcasts a message to other sites, which may potentially interact and ask questions .
Videoconferences in broadcast mode are, for example, sometimes used for corporate internships or when CEO wants to speak to employees of his company.
